Dr. Keith Tedford

After earning his Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, Dr. Tedford completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama. Dr. Tedford has been practicing family dentistry since 2003 and founded Tedford Family Dentistry in 2007 to serve the Chattanooga, Ooltewah, Collegedale and Cleveland communities. He is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the ADA, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Chattanooga Area Dental Society. He is also involved in the Lookout Mountain Study Club and Ocoee Study Club. Dr. Tedford and his wife Becky have two children, Addison and Sam. They live in Ooltewah and enjoy actively participating in the community. They are members of Brainerd Baptist Church.

Leslie Summitt

Leslie has worked for Tedford Family Dentistry since 2009 as a Dental Assistant. She is an Ooltewah native and a graduate of Ooltewah High School. She earned her certification in dental assisting from Chattanooga State Community College.  I enjoy working for Dr. Tedford because he truely cares for his patients and also for my fun loving coworkers.  Outside of work she enjoys playing softball in the Collegedale women’s league and bicycling with her husband and two children.

Shantelle Davis

Shantelle has worked for Tedford Family Dentistry since 2007 as the Patient Care Coordinator. She earned her certification in office administration from Cleveland State Community College. She enjoys working for Dr. Tedford because of his sense of humor and caring nature. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son at the beach or while boating and hiking. Together her family is active in New Beginnings Baptist Church.

Vanessa Petty

Vanessa earned her degree in Dental Assisting from Chattanooga State Community College. She feels very lucky to work with such a great, fun loving team that works together amazingly to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys days at the pool or lake, four wheeling, spending time with family, friends, and her pet yorkie.

Kayla Young

Kayla is a Dental Hygienist at Tedford Family Dentistry. She graduated from Sequatchie County High School and earned her certification in dental hygiene from Chattanooga State Community College. She is glad to work at Tedford Family Dentistry because the team feels like family and looks out for their patients. Kayla is also a big college football fan and often hangs out with family and friends in her spare time.

Rachel Norman

Rachel began working for Tedford Family Dentistry in 2011 as a Dental Hygienist. She grew up in Lynchburg, Tennessee and graduated from Moore County High School. She earned her certification in dental hygiene from Chattanooga State and loves living and working in Chattanooga. One of her favorite things about Tedford Family Dentistry is her kind-hearted coworkers. Outside of work she is active in her church, plays the guitar and enjoys days at the lake, country music and her pet maltipoo.
